Jan Cutting Healthy Living Centre and Wellbeing Hub
Jan Cutting Healthy Living Centre and Wellbeing Hub
The Centre is a vibrant community hub in the heart of the west of the city and offers an innovative approach which inspires and empowers local people to transform their lives. We continue to work with the most vulnerable in our communities, those who are isolated, facing mental ill health or those who are lacking confidence or skills. Typically, we are engaging with those with multiple complex needs, are on a longer journey of support or are becoming involved with our community centres and activities for the first time. From support with bills, building long-term financial resilience, improving emotional or physical health or gaining skills and qualifications to access employment, our Hub based colleagues and partners are here to help.
As a commissioned partner within the Plymouth City Council Wellbeing Hub strategy, we are a part of a collaborative, integrated and strategic system response that ultimately delivers against key outcomes for Plymouth and the Western CCG for whole population health and wellbeing. The Plymouth City Council commission provides us with funding towards dedicated Wellbeing Hub Advisors, Nicki, Marie and Julie who provide direct support to those in need in our community as well as facilitating community events, activities and partnerships.
