About Scott Business Park
The right place to do business
Scott Business Park stands as a prime example of successful urban regeneration, transforming a former hospital site into a vibrant commercial hub.
This ambitious project was undertaken in partnership with Plymouth City Council with funding from the Single Regeneration Budget, Southwest Regional Development Agency, and Government Office for the South West.
Construction of the park was completed in the summer of 2003, with the first businesses moving in that July. The rapid success of the development was evident as all business units were fully occupied within just six months of completion.
Today, Scott Business Park features 34 light industrial and office units, varying in size from 600 to 3,000 sq. ft. The park also proudly hosts the Jan Cutting Healthy Living Centre and a popular onsite café, fostering a dynamic and integrated environment for businesses and the wider community.

The Importance of Workplace Biodiversity
In partnership with the Wolseley Trust, Pollenize launched a biodiversity monitoring project for 2023-24 aimed at enhancing the site's native wildflower patches and continued monitoring of plant and insect species on site. Green spaces in business parks offer more than aesthetic value—they play a crucial role in supporting biodiversity, improving air quality, and creating a pleasant environment for employees and visitors. Projects like Floradex demonstrate how businesses can actively contribute to local conservation efforts while reaping the benefits of a healthier and more vibrant environment.
